collaborative, evidence-based care

More than therapy. A place to better understand yourself.

Lavender Grove is a Vancouver-based practice offering thoughtful, inclusive care to adults navigating therapy, assessment, and everything in between. We believe meaningful support begins with feeling understood, not judged.

our philosophy

We believe therapy starts with understanding, not assumptions.

For many people, reaching out for support comes after months—or even years—of trying to figure things out on their own.

You don’t need to arrive with all the answers.

Whether you’re navigating anxiety, burnout, trauma, relationship challenges, identity, or beginning to wonder whether autism or ADHD has been part of your story all along, our role isn’t to tell you who you should become.

It’s to create space to better understand who you already are.

Through curiosity, collaboration, and evidence-based care, we work alongside you to help you better understand your experiences, build on your strengths, and move toward the life you want to create.

what guides our work

Care that’s safe, collaborative, and genuinely inclusive.

Lavender Grove was intentionally built for people who have often felt misunderstood, overlooked, or unsure where they fit. Rather than expecting you to have all the answers before reaching out, we believe care should begin with understanding your experiences first.

Inclusive by Intention

We strive to create a practice where LGBTQIA2S+ individuals, neurodivergent adults, and people from all backgrounds feel welcomed, respected, understood, and supported from their very first interaction.

Neuroaffirming Care

We recognize autism, ADHD, and other forms of neurodivergence as natural variations in how people experience the world. Our approach is grounded in acceptance, curiosity, understanding, and evidence-based care.

Collaborative Therapy

You are the expert on your own life. Therapy is something we build together through curiosity, trust, and shared understanding, creating support that reflects your goals, pace, and experiences.

The Right Therapist Matters

Every therapist brings their own personality, perspective, and areas of expertise. We’ll help connect you with someone whose approach, experience, and style feel like the right fit for you.

Getting started shouldn’t feel overwhelming.

Reaching out can feel like the hardest part. We’re here to make the process feel clear, supportive, and centred around finding the right next step.

meet the founder

Creating the kind of practice I knew people were searching for.

As I settled into my work as a therapist, I realized I was doing my best work with LGBTQIA2S+ and neurodivergent clients. Those were the conversations that felt most meaningful, and the clients who seemed to feel most understood.

Over time, I realized that many people were spending their first therapy sessions explaining who they were before they could begin talking about why they had come. They were explaining their identities, relationships, experiences, or the ways they moved through the world. I wanted to create a practice where people could spend less time educating their therapist and more time focusing on themselves.

As Lavender Grove grew, so did that vision. What began as one therapist has become a collaborative team of clinicians who share a commitment to thoughtful, inclusive, and neuroaffirming care. My hope is that every person who walks through our doors feels they can relax, exhale, and know they’ll be met with curiosity, respect, and genuine understanding from the very beginning.

when you’re ready

You don’t have to know exactly where to begin.

Some people reach out knowing exactly what they’re looking for. Others simply know that something doesn’t feel quite right. Wherever you’re starting, we’ll help you understand your options, answer your questions, and connect you with the therapist or assessment that’s the right fit for you.
