Here's what to expect:

Our autism assessments are conducted by Registered Clinical Social Workers with assessment and formal diagnosis within their scope of practice in B.C. We use the ADOS-2 and other empirical measures to guide the process. If you meet diagnostic criteria, your assessment includes a formal diagnosis. Assessments can support accommodations at school or work, the Disability Tax Credit / PWD application, or general self-understanding. Our assessors are neurodivergent themselves, and bring that lived understanding into every assessment.

Full assessment with written report – $2,500

Diagnosis letter only, no full report – $1,000

We use the ADOS-2 and other empirical measures to guide the process. If you meet diagnostic criteria, your assessment includes a formal diagnosis. Assessments can support accommodations at school or work, the Disability Tax Credit / PWD application, or general self-understanding. Our assessors are neurodivergent themselves, and bring that lived understanding into every assessment.

We don’t direct bill insurance, every policy is a little different. You’re welcome to submit a receipt to your extended health plan and may receive partial reimbursement. If you have counselling coverage, part of the assessment may be covered under that as well. Before we move forward, take a second to confirm:

Kathleen Potter (She/Her), MSW, RCSW — Kathleen has twenty years of experience supporting neurodivergent kids, teens, and adults. Her approach is about giving you language for your experience, and something concrete to lean on, whether that’s with your doctor, your employer, or your school.
